- " You have woken up, what was silenced"
Kia ora tatou (acknowledging you all). This page offers you some resources which may throw a little light your terms of being in your world. One woman's insight was that "I am the way it all fits together". - In hearing her words for her spirituality, woman described being "grounded'' Another participant noticed after being listened to something in her "was woken up".
For if we cannot name something, then we generally fail to see it. We cannot be free with that which we are unconscious of, and everyone involved here through this research, felt that their spirituality was key to their working life. So much of social work here is about sitting with emotional and spiritual matters; bearing in these spaces with individual, cultural and universal spiritual capacities. -
- One findings from the research offer that these capacities bring depth in understanding the manner in which colonization processes are acting through our lives and enables capacities to be willingly open to deepened and mutually meaningful ways of being as peoples.
